How CIS Works
Working under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) means you work and pay tax as a subcontractor on a self-employed basis, with Workwell acting as the contractor you provide services to.
When you are due payment, Workwell will deduct:
- Our margin.
- Your CIS tax.
We pay upon instruction and receipt of funds for your agency.
Each week you are due payment, you’ll receive:
- Text confirming your hours and rates.
- Second text confirming your net payment.
- Payslip, sent by email.
Payslips are password protected, and details on how to access them will be included in your weekly payslip email.
